FULL SERVICE:

We are experienced in a wide range of utility services including:

TYPES OF SPRINKLER SYSTEMS:

• tapping into the municipal water supply
• installing underground water mains
• installing pumps and tanks
• replacing and repairing underground valves
• repairing, installing and testing fire hydrants
• servicing post indicator valves (PIV)
• installing underground electrical duct banks

Hydrant Inspection:

• Notified Water Division of work to be performed.
• Visually inspect the area.
• Visually check hydrant
• Remove caps. Clean and lubricate threads. Replace caps.
• Install hole or diffuser if necessary.
• Open hydrant SLOWLY to full open position.
• Perform Fire Flow Test if required.
• Check for leakage.
• Reduce flow and run for at least 3 minutes.
• Check water clarity with solid white cup.
• Reduce flow SLOWLY and shut off hydrant.
• Watch to see hydrant stops dripping. Re-flush if necessary.
• Pump water from barrel of hydrant.
• Remove hose or fittings, replace cap.
• Repair any damage to surrounding area.
